After seeing Steve Porter in the gallery, i think my taste in music finally has changed. I have always been the uplifting trance guy, but man after i saw that man in there, i couldnt get enought!!! Def the highlight of my night with JXL a very close second!

Wow that was definitely a great experience for my first time at the guv/koolhaus!

Junkie XL was amazing! The highlight of my night was when he dropped his remix of "Talk" I seriously though I had died and gone to heaven, this guy has so much energy!!!

Second Sun blew my mind....I really wasn't liking the fact you couldn't dance for 2 seconds without someone pushing you...then someone smashed their elbow on the top of my head, but me and my friend Danielle got a spot up front and just went nuts. When they dropped "Playground" I knew the night was complete! "Crush" was amazing as well, woooooow Antoines vocals were incredible!

woohoo! turns out i dont have work today!

As I was saying, Junkie XL stole the freaking show in Kool Haus. Holy crap, it was an amazing set. I almost didnt go to Guv to check out Second Sun cuz his set was so killer

But by far, the highlight was Second Sun for the night. Those guys had everyone in Guv in the palm of their hands! Pure energy in their performance too. Best concert type experience i've ever had! (although it was a piss off that it was sooo packed)

^ Best 7-8 minutes of the night by far!

Picotto was rather dissappointing tho.
I was expecting so much more. His set was totally lacking energy. Although he had a few good classic tracks in there, over all the 1 hour of his set that i did hear was lacking. I wanted to hear banging hard techno, not slow almost-minimal techno.

And of course, BLANK & JONES DELIEVERED AS USUAL! BOMB after BOMB after BOMB. Sweet jebus, they had an awesome set. I was trying to record it of ETN, but i only got 40min of picottos set, and then for some reason it gets cut off I hope someone recorded it!

And last but not least... the life of the party last night: InMyPlace (Natalia) & TranceGrooves (Tyler)! During Second Suns performance, these two were killin it with energy! Always a pleasure partying with you guys.

I had a great time last night thanks to all the TA's that were present, if it wasn't for you all I think I might have died of boredom. I don't think that I have ever once felt like the way that I did last night. Porter's opening set was awesome, Junkie XL was good, but part way through the second hour it just got to be too repetitive and boring. Then there was shity ass picotto, WTF, have we not learned our lesson here in Toronto after the last three visits?? Picotto sucks balls so don't bring him back! I think over half the people left the KoolHaus during his set and went somewhere else.
So after a long Gruelling 2 hours.......
Blank and Jones came on. They startd off a bit slow, but definatley picked it up part way thru....Lovin the old school tracks

Anywho....Josh thanks for letting us chill at your place after....ladies hope you all are okay over there still, tell tony its time to leave you girls alone you need to rest

By far one of the best Ultra Spin events ever held @ GUV..
Perfect crowd, vibe and Music in all rooms..
Return Of Oliver..Mark Oliver proved to be worthy of the wait as he took us on a full blast trance journey right after the live act Second Sun which btw put on a great show for the clubbers in the main room..

Steve porter also had the crowd going mad inside the KH with some really upbeat and border line progressive trance..lol!

and I finally got a techno fix from M.A.U.R.O..defenitely good to have him back in the GAME..

Huge shout out to the TA massive,,YOU OWNE THE DANCE FLOOR WHEREEVER YOU GO!!

Woah I havent slept yet!!

I'd like to say I havent had that much fun in MONTHS!! Probably since Ultra Spin 8 last June.
