Ok I was watching a news channel and they told me:
'Todays its a new day for Iraq, a new begining, a new government....'
And I said bravo, brand new fresh day for Iraq, a fresh begining and one more fresh new government. I wonder how many more 'new' days will Iraq have.
And than they showed me a clip of Bush speaking from White House and he told me:
'Todays its a new day for Iraq, a new begining, a new government, freedom....'

You're watching too much TV. You're starting to talk like one.

Uh. Vietnam?
And war is ugly. You can't expect people to "stand up and fight like real" men if its not going to let them win.
Remember the Redcoats said the Rebel army were unmanly for not lining up and marching face to face into battle... so in effect you are calling our fore fathers pansies?
Only in your little world.
Ok so they could hide in the caves like cowards
An honorable man also knows when he's defeated, kid.
And, yeah they are doing a good job of defeating the coalation and the new iraqi government by killing their own people AND muslims.
Shows how much their religion is valuable to the greedy people who control and brainwash them .
And, yeah they are doing a good job of defeating the coalation and the new iraqi government by killing their own people AND muslims.
But as long as they kill 2 or 3 Americans in the process, then all will be forgiven..
I can not beleive how any one can even support these issurgents when these insurgents kill other muslims and kill school teachers and children.
real big men, kind of like Cyrus and Hardcore, real big men sitting behind thier PC's in a free country like Canada!! ha ha

Here is all you need to disprove.
Fact: US pulled out of Vietnam in 1973 with no concrete victory or supression of NVA or Viet Cong agressions.
Fact: Two years later South Vietnam had been invaded and reunified with the north.
Just prove those two things wrong and I will shut up!
I didn't drop out because I didn't know the material so you shouldn't judge my intelligence off that. In fact every year in high school I tested at the top of my classes in history so please do fuck off if you think you know my education.
where did isay that wasn't true? LMAO kid go back to schol i call bullshit about your "high school experience" The US pulled out because of little support back home mainly due to the media for this was the first time average americans could see the horror of war and america barely lost any battle during the entire war
You have to also understand that the technology between the current Iraq and the American fighters is very different.
Also you have to realise that the insurgents are like gangs of some sorts, so gangs VS a countries military.
If, and im just saying "IF" these insurgents were part of a larger military group and had all the sophisticated weaponary that America used on them, then it could have been a different story.
Here we have a side that is very cautious to take every step slowly, analyse the situation and attack when they see it right, against a side who see's death as another doorway to another life so they will do anything to cause damage.
I don't think there is any tough sides anywhere to be honest. If all sides were fairly trained and fairly equiped, then you will be able to say which side is stronger.
If this new government of Iraq is successful, then we may see a different side to Iraqi military because it will be funded differently and trained differently; one can hope for the better.

Yeah because it ain't obvious that i wrote that in a hurry. That has little to do with that seeing as how we adapt to the enviroment, you do realize that the soldiers are trained to fight in any terrain and in any weather or conditios? ESPECIALLY post-KOREAN war not even always vietnam.

It's obvious we learned nothing from Vietnam in terms of tactics and training! As soon as Vietnam was over we went back to the whole Cold War, defend the Fulda Gap, protect west Germany scenario and didn't give a second thought about another war were we would have to fight an insurgency.
wow do you know any soldiers? lol do you even remmember when smokeape was here and how he talked about training current units in urban warfare? the special forces and marine force recon train in EVERY single terrain there is
