Luxembourg on the first half had one or two major chances, they hit the woodwork once and managed to stay 45 minutes without condeeding (probably a record or something ). On the second half things were completely different and we managed to play some good football, with Petit the midfield improved very much... as least it's my opinion
I dunno, but probably, I'd pick these ones as the starting eleven: Ricardo; Nuno Valente, Fernando Meira, Ricardo Carvalho, Miguel; Petit, Tiago, Simão Sabrosa, Figo, Ronaldo; Pauleta. And just because we always play on a 4-5-1... I'm more of a 4-4-2 person. |
Deco out?
I know he didn't do great saturday, but still I'd much rather keep him on the team and leave Simão in alert at the bench to any sign of Ronaldo madness.
The team played better with Figo in the middle, but it was only one game against a crap team, remember the long ass time we've tried to find solutions for Deco's place and nobody ever did the job as well as he does, and that is including Figo.
btw, yesterday: Angola 0 United States 1
