Excellent referee. Both red cards were 100% justified.

it couldve gone either way, it was a dangerous tackle, obviously he was going for the player not the ball, and the player couldnt see the tackle, if you go by the rulebook its a red, if your lenient its a yellow, and the ref has shown he's not lenient. i think he's just trying to keep the game from getting too aggressive and he's doing a good job.

also this game deserves a big

what a shit fucking call. See, that's why I love NFL - you have a challenge, instant replay, and booth review.

In succker, you have possibly paid off refs. Italians with their corruption everywhere, including sports, probably bought off the refs too.

b00!!!! italy deserves to lose just for being such dicks.

What a game, the italians first threat and they score. The U.S. looked hungrier and shit they should be this could be very well be their last chance to get some points to make it through the next round.Love the atmosphere of this game, played like a final.

Hope the 2nd half is just as entertaining.

As for the 2 red cards,I thinki they were both well awarded.I also think that the italian sent off will miss more then just one game.

USA started out very well in the first half and was better for 15-20 minutes before Italy scored their goal, which meant 1-0.

Good pass from Pirlo to Gilardino who finally scored a goal.

De Rossi is an idiot, and as most of Romas players an asshole. Why even complain about that?

IDIOT!

Maestroeni was given a red card to, and deserved it. These kind of tackles are meant to be a red card, He came with both feets in high speed and deserved a red card

I'm glad Totti was substituted and Gatusso came on, He's a freaking monkey but provides very much for Italys game.

entertaining first half and very physical. pope and onyewu better watch out for the cards. i thought pablo should have gotten a yellow. oh well 10 v 10 for 45 minutes should make for an interesting game. it should open things up and hopefully some more scoring to come.

thats such a half assed response, do you even know what the parameters are for a red card in soccer? i think you just got your pride hurt, i mean seriously talk about conspiracy theories from the experts themselves

Exactly my though

But when Gattusso scored that goal, it wasn't offside and should've counted.
