It was not funny. He says now that he was 'just' joking but I think it is not a good idea to 'just' joke the way he joked and when he was making those threats, I didn't think he was joking. That Neo was able to calm him down and gain control of the situation was commendable.

I think a lot of us are angry with Nou and we have a right to be angry. He has apologized. He probably also understands that sometimes, saying 'sorry' plain and simply isn't enough.
