Also in reference to the Allied Nations/Mitsu/Tag thing.
I don't think seeing DJs (Or a DJ) gives you anymore grounds to diss or adore than listening to livesets. I mean, the big names come what... once or twice a year in Montreal, so the other 364 days of the year we have to listen to recorded livesets from other clubs, which is just as good a thing to judge by as actually seeing them live I think. Also DJs play differently depending on the city, so... Could be he sucks in Montreal but rocks out everywhere else.
That being said, Brendan rarely says any DJ or DJs were AMAZING, I can count them on 3 fingers. Desyn, Vibe, Ferry (April 15th 2005). So if he says that Tiefscwartz were really good, I believe him cause despite popular belief on here he knows his shit and has good taste.
So in conclusion I'd like to thank the producers at NBC, the Academy and Jesus.
Also I forgot what thread I'm in so apologies for polluting it. |
hehe, what a nice and peaceful post Your buddy can learn a few things from you.
Whether they are amazing or not is a person's opinion and taste. I heard a couple of live sets and it sounded like a train colliding with an airplane over and over again. My taste, my opinion.
Back to topic:
I'm still not over how amazing the night was, I have a Platenlegger set of theirs which seems a bit too short (i.e. edited ) but it stills brings me back to the night. It's my "happy place" now

PS: Stereohead, you weren't put in the mix by me
and I plan to have nothing but fun at Lee.
