For those that speak Arabic, how much does it differ from the construction of Spanish? It's Difficulty? That's where the $$$'s at. |
are you serious?? ahah ....first, spanish and arabic do not have the same origin background..of course arabic influenced spanish words when they were living in the southern part of Spain until Isabel chased them but you can not really say it's similar at all. As for its learning, a friend of mine is actually taking the class @ uni and it says it's complicated as hell because when you conjugate a verb for example, you can conjugate it for me, you, you + 1 male person, you + 1 female person, you + 2 males...etc...there are like 11 possible conjugations for each verb tense...and it's not like they don't change like in english (I work, you work, he works, we work, you work, they work ...6 possible conjugations with 83.4% the same ending)...anyways..look up wikipedia for more information or google.

Why wouldn't I be serious? I've been to Cadiz & Gibraltar, there's obviously influence, besides I asked how it differed, not for a handicapp History 40 lesson. the "i, you, she/he/it, we, you all, they work" exists in Spanish too. the +1, +2 doesn't seem familiar, unless you're speaking of plurals.

I never said there wasn't any influence, I just said it's not from the same background....it's like if I was going to tell that English uses some Japanese words, so it must come from the same origin....by the way..im fluent in Spanish so if you think tricking me, it ain't working..it's not because the Mors conquered a part of Spain that it means arabic and spanish have the same origins..because spanish comes from a vulgarised iberian latin which itself was influenced by greek and secondly, when I mean in arabic + 1 or + 2....ex: You are with your female friend Carla. When I talk to you and carla, I will use the You + conjugating the verb a certain way. If you are with your friend Joe, You still are the you + conjugating the verb in a different way than when I did when u were with Carla because Carla was a female and Joe is a male......things like that make it difficult..
