Hahaha, first of all --> This is an incredible simple melody to produce so why on hell use a preset-arpeggio?!?!?! That just pisses me off. I've cooporated with many artists who uses presets and once I realise it, I stop the cooporation immediately. It's just too ejay-ish!!! Make your own melodies god dammit Second of all --> These melodies aren't similar. The first one (the original) has more chord-changes and different ones as well. And imo is far much better. I wouldn't mind remixing it actually, cuz the chord-changes are beautiful! Leon's melody isn't quite as complex. And the melody-pattern is similar, but not exact the same.

Yes, they sound similar. Mainly because they both has the same synth-sound.

Grow up people

haha man that's the whole point about it

we made a banging club track (we think so tho) and added this breakdown (which i called cheesy and fluffy earlier on), we made it very simple, using an arp preset (actually its the first time i used any preset which i didnt even change after all). So it was just: hit some chords, arp it, and add it to the breakdown, and lets see. The mighty ducks track is a club track, its for the dancefloors, and its kinda gimmick like, this arp preset being one of the gimmicks. And it isnt inspired by anything, maybe just by what we would call 'standard trance'.

So its not about that we thought to have found a brilliant melody, cause we dont think it is. Like i said, its a gimmick, and therefor we think it works. Total contrast to the beats and the oldschool stabs.

Maybe the problem is that Paul's track is unoriginal. He's basically saying a preset sounds the same as his melody here.

Even though it doesn.

the real question is when will bolier put out more tracks like 'my precious'

that was a choon, and even more so the ozgur can remix

The Original, Ozgur and Mesh remixes all made for a very solid release IMO

Unfortunately the dice rolled such crazy way. Some pages before I posted my answer to all this and I think there is no sense to repeat it again. It's just an impossible coincidence. From this situation there is one big summary:

STANDARD PRESETS ARE EVIL!

[EDIT]

If you are really sure that Leon and Cliff stole your melody, please take this to court. It's very childish to speak bad about something you haven't proven yet. You have posted this on several forums to achieve what? Sounds like you're more up to damaging Leon as a producer than to get your right.

+1

sorry man....not this time...
no way leon will do that man , NO WAY! and not saying it just cuz we're friends but knowing him as a producer!
and b wise don't try to ruin other ppl names i'm just saying it for ur own good cuz it will bite u in the ass sometime in the future...

anyway i don't think its a rip off like arksun said there are a lot of melos that sounds the same here and there and if ur a genius which made a hit and someone ripped it off just remember u got the talent to do it again

This topic now works as circle. Already discussed that on t.nu
