gloomy and untrustful doesn't necessarily mean you can't be happy
trust me, i'm a cynic
and yes, cynicism(sp?) can lead to bitterness, but is not necessarily related

idk i guess i just don't take it to have an implicitly negative connotation

youre making assumptions without any evidence. i am neither bitter nor unhappy. mildly amused at the utter bullshit you cretins might choose to swallow, but thats all.

not a spazz out. just thinking your position lacked credibility or forethought is all.

then whats the point in having a discussion at all then? this thread is about the existence (or lack thereof) of fate. if you cant question, learn from, debunk or refine somebody elses position, why bother ever having a conversation ever?

keep your beliefs to yourself then. by posting on a forum you make your beliefs an open target for anyone. if you cant handle a discussion that is critical of your position, then dont post them.

now, justify your belief in faith and destiny. tell me how they work, how they intermingle and relate to concepts of free will. im all for different opinions, but i want to hear logical and well-constructed beliefs when dicussing immeasurable notions like destiny.

frustration, amusement or annoyance with people's gullible nature or their tendency to believe in fantastic notions devoid of any evidence does not make me bitter.

Why did it lack credibility? I wasn't trying to make a believer out of anyone? Usually when someone asks a yes or no question, you answer yes or no. Not yes, and here's a list as to the reasons why. I don't need your approval I've never been one of those people who feel the need to "prove" why I believe the things I do. What happened to make me believe in something, is none of your business.

Who said I can't handle it?

Do you go around commanding people in real life? I would love to see that. Again, the thread beginning said "yes or no" Not "yes or no and explain your answer".

And I don't give a shit what you want to hear. I could give a flying fuck if you believe in fate or destiny. I believe, you don't. I have reasons, and I honestly don't feel like it's necessary to divulge in personal matters on the internet with a stranger, just because you said so.

So stuff it already.

Why should that bother you though? Other people's beliefs have no effect on your life. Basically you're admitting how weak you are by choosing to be intolerant to things that have nothing to do with you. Way to go.
