No but what I said in my post and Purple responded to, were just saying that if you don't like ASOT or Armin or Epic trance, and there is a thread about it, and not looking for opinions, then people don't have to jump on the "ASOT sucks, your music sucks, Armin sucks!" bandwagon.To tell you the truth, I don't listen to ASOT, and am not a huge Armin fan anymore, but I don't go into threads about ASOT and tell people how much I think it sucks.

It's one thing to have an opinion in a thread about someone's opinion or observation, but when they are just wanting to discuss say an ASOT episode, or the latest epic trance tracks, it's pretty annoying and disrespectful for people to come in and basically hijack the thread because you don't like their taste in music. This is not the same as saying you didn't like the ASOT episode, or you don't like this particular trance track being discussed...that is to be expected.

I know Tranceaddict is not just about trance music, but I find it silly that people who are wanting to talk about trance, get bashed on a forum called...of all things..tranceaddict. It's like going into a gamers club at some school and saying "video games suck!" or the members themselves think this, it just doesn't make sense. Offering alternatives is fine, but if someone likes ASOT and just wants to discuss it, let them and don't bother them. It's so simple...don't like something being discussed in a thread, then you don't have to let everyone know you don't like it..you don't even need to participate in it period.

That's not the same as people just wanting to discuss the latest ASOT in Music Discussion. PDD is for debate, people are going to disagree. People will disagree on the MD forum as well. MD was made to discuss music, and if people want to discuss something they like, then people should let them, without some guys coming in and getting into a hasty debate about it or criticizing each other for their choice in music. Internet Forums shouldn't be any different than in real life discussion. Not everyone wants to debate all the time, and certaintly not be criticized for their tastes. I mean i'm guilty of doing this sometimes, everyone is I think, but I'm not one to do it all of the time, to the point it just becomes silliness...immaturity and disrespect.

PDD = Poltical Discussion and Debate.

Why aren't people allowed to discuss what they don't like? Or should people start separate threads with such titles as "I Hate ASOT," "Most Disappointing DJ," or "Why Armin (or PvD, Tiesto, etc.) Sucks" and then bitch when fanboys come in to criticize their opinions and selected discussion topics?
