But seriously, I do not know when things changed...perhaps, at the root of it all, they truly haven't. Seems logical to believe that there have always been those in power and those underneath the authority who are helpless to resist...
Seems a sad human condition to me. I can see how some people are comfortable with it though - it favours them. So when does it end? Death? Even in death, are we to be judged by some higher authority for the sins against society in our previous life?
WTF are you talking about? You are taking an isolated incident by rented rogue security guards and making like someone is lurking around every corner...you should seek professional help....you have what is called paranoia.

Since laws came about.

You have a very linear mind. My comments were not at 'this police force' or 'that police force' - I am talking about the idea of an authoritative police force in general. Why does everyone have to explain things twice to you, anyways?

Dude, you are a 20 year old snot nose kid who knows shit. You are a typical college kid who thinks he knows everything.
You talk kinds of shit about the police in this thread, yet you would be the first to bitch about them if they werent around to help YOU. Everyone hates the police till they need them

And unjust law is no law at all.
Laws are established to serve the people and police exist to enforce laws so that order can be preserved and the people can be protected from those who disobey the laws - how was this person going to harm somebody by not having an identification on him? He may have been harming the law and nothing more (and even that is debatable) but how is that grounds for people to go in and seize somebody in a school with force? Seems ridiculous to me.
I anticipate your lawful, narrow-minded response and lots of rolleyes. In fact, I suspect that your presence here has already added an element of deep retardation to a thread that was otherwise full of reasonable, supported opinion. Not even Googooly managed to ruin this thread. Welcome.

I agree. The force used was uncalled for. Maybe one tazer if that..the kid was skinny enough for those cops to pick him up and carry him away, which is what they SHOULD of done.

People really have forgotten the serve and protect attitude. It really makes me sad. My blood bubbles when I watch stuff like that.

orbital: perhaps rather than chastise the police, we can work towards developing a more lenient police force so this isnt an issue.

People really ignore the other thousands of police officers that do serve and protect. Its like me seeing some e-tard rolling balls somewhere and thinking everyone on here has poop for brains.
the actions of these cops do not generalize to other cops...
