ha, that's like the opposite for me. as a student i had loads of disposable income and now i have no money even though i make more money than i did as a student. go figure. must be paying back those pesky student loans that does it.
anyways, i am not 27 yet, thank god. (LOL. don't yell at me, people!) but i will be very shortly, and skipper pretty much summed up my feelings on the subject. and to be honest, i find i'm really going back to my indie rock roots this year. i'm pretty bored with clubbing at the moment and want to do other things, and hear other genres of music that i like, not that this is really anything new. that's not to say i don't go out anymore, but there are fewer djs that i will go out of my way to see, and half the time i'd rather just go to bed. again, the old age does that! |
I'm in the same boat. I'm just not feeling the club scene right now, and have been seeking out the same genre of music I did when I was in my early 20's. I have also found that with age, my tolerance of certain venues has decreased. If it's not comfortable, with space to dance, breathe etc, I'm not going to have a good time. I really enjoyed going to System b/c the temperature was always cool, it wasn't overcrowded on most nights, they had ample bathrooms and seating... but since they've closed I've only been out once in Toronto.
