However I was thinking perhaps fat people should be locked up we could put all these fatties on the Bobby Sands diet!

As a kid, all I ate was junkfood. I have a very high metabolism though, which runs in my family. My younger brothers are skeletons and they stuff their faces with fatty foods.

As I grow older, even though I don't gain wait easily, poor food does have an impact on the way you feel. Eating healthier not only will keep the lbs off, but make you healthier.

Does that mean, us Americans are a fairly unhealthy society? Eating fast food that is injected with chemcials?

There have been mice bred to be deficient in leptin, a hormone that regulates hunger and appetite, and they get really obese:

So it seems that it is at least partly in the genes.

nature just doesnt give. Your bringing science into this now. Basically a metabolism increases when the body fat percentage is low. So skinnier people have a higher metabolism (usually) and thats why they stay skinny. People who weigh more have a slower metabolism and use up calories slower than one who is leaner. It has to do with muscle requiring more energy then fat and fat stores being broken down for energy. When you are fat your body doesnt need to work as hard to produce energy for your body (thus a slower metabolism) Think about it 1 g of fat has 9 calories while 1 g of carbs has 4 and also 1 g of protein has 4.

Also thats why in winter hibernation is possible due to fat stores and dramatic slowing down of metabolism.

Didnt do the research on this but it makes sense. Anyone can correct me if im wrong.

Cut the science shit Karim, how about the Egyptian diet?

Fly to Egypt around the Red Sea coast. Buy some fruit on the beach off some dodgy Arab, a case of severe dysentery a month of shitting out your guts on khazi and bob's your uncle a nice new sleak slim waistline.

Its genetic in so much that people with efficient metabolisms where able to survive the tougher times because they had a backup 'tyre' in the trunk
Hence more of them lived than people with poor metabolisms (skinny bastids in other words) that didnt have anything to fall back on. Skinny died out in famines, Fatty didnt.

It's up there with the British diet of drinking stupid amounts of lager, taking E or Meth, dancing like a loon every weekend and finishing it off with a dodgy kebab or curry from some street vender you 'think' on the way home.

Only difference is, weather is better in Egypt.

You need to explain your thoughts and the

I think this because this this this this this and this. These all tie together this way proving what I stated as my premise in the beginning.

If your point is, who really cares, fat people exist, just leave it.

Its not like youre trying to do anything about it or offering fixes.

I at least told you to fidget to burn some extra cals

thanks lilith. your right about that

Actually you brought up a good point. Taking ampetamines and going to all night raves is a great way to create a caloric deficit.

Think about it 6 or so hours of cardio (if you dance hard) youll probably lose about 1500 or more calories.
