personally i'm just curious how you get the different effects, does the effect change as you listen to the thing?
cause i just got one big long audio file and a short audio file intro, no control over what i listen to other than just randomly skipping into the middle

There are softwares based on binaural beating phenomenon where you can control the beat frequency etc. You can check Brain Wave Generator , for instance. This CD doesn't seem to give you any control over the frequency.
