i dont see how that follows. just because we have free will shouldnt prevent god from knowing what all of our free choices are going to be.

Free will means that your future choices are not determinate. If some part of the future is indeterminate, then that means that part of it is unknowable.

Then let's hear a better argument.
Thank you.
EDIT: And no, we won't accept "Because God said so."

ill spell it out for you again then cretin.
precscience by a deity does not prevent the existance of free will. just because god knows what im going to do does not mean i dont have the free will do to otherwise. he knows i won't, not because im pre-determined to perform specific actions, but because he knows everything.

But if he knows everything, then it is in fact predetermined by the word of God, which contradicts the idea of free will.
Oh, and you never made any arguments prior to this post, you only had opinions. Go back and read your own posts.

Here, I'll help you out:
"so are you saying god cant see into the future just because we have free will?"
Question.
"i dont see how that follows. just because we have free will shouldnt prevent god from knowing what all of our free choices are going to be."
Opinion. You stated your beliefs without backup.
"i know what you're both saying. i just disagree."
Opinion.
Well, well.

If free will has been predetermined, it's no longer free will - only an illusion. We like to live in illusions though, whether we know it or not. I know you already know this, perhaps we should speculate on the powers of 'God' though? It seems to me that omnipotence is not necessarily omniscience, on a cosmic sense, though it most certainly is compared to human beings. I don't really see how anyone could be right or wrong about this or have a more valid opinion than another person though, really.
