I don't think that's a good idea personally: Posting your mix on here is a bad enough idea, because it lets other participants hear what they're up against. Posting a tracklist is an even worse idea because if you do that, you're just giving up all your tracks; some of which other participants might not even know of, and they can go on Beatport, type in the track name/producer name and flat out steal it to put it in their mix. Wouldn't you do that if the chance was given to you?

I wouldn't post shit up on this forum until the contest is over and the winner(s) have been officially announced.

PS The mixes I've heard from certain peeps are pretty stellar, one in particular, so, no disrespect to Wisnia but there really is ALOT more out there to come...404 Science said it perfectly: TA is just a tiny portion of who is entering the contest.

Dude please don't take that negatively...That comment you quoted stems from this: I just don't wanna see any of my actual FRIENDS who are entering the competition feel hurt and even worse, discouraged if they don't make it through. There's way too much talent around me that needn't be discouraged. What a waste that would be. I know I'd feel like ass if I entered with what I believed to be a stellar mix and performance and got rejected. Look, there are a select few people on this board with whom I have friendships (and a relationship) with that go waaaaaaaaay beyond TA. Music is just what brought us together. I consider you one of them...Bro you know you've always had my support and I hope you don't doubt that I sincerely hope you nail this competition.

Just wanted to clear that up

Funny how people are discussing what equipment to use at the club.

Before actually winning.

So like I said depending on if your an NCM or Officer and your rank, you probably make at least $50,000 a year but most likely more. And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

The DJs who enter this competition from TA are already working on their mixes and getting their tracks ready. I seriously doubt they would change anything if they heard someone elses mix. Posting a tracklist was never suggested.
And even if it was why in the hell would you want to have the same track in your mix like somebody else? Either way, to answer your question, of course I wouldn't do that.

I realize there is more out there than TA but nobody ever said anything about winning (well Monika did but im sure she meant within the TA community). My initial suggestion was for TAs to post their mixes here so we can have a vote and say who'se the "best" from TA. Wether they win the actual DJ competition or not.

Anyways, it's over like in 2 days so i guess those who want to post will post when they send them, and those who don't want to post won't.
