Who are we to determine what they represent?
Is it wrong for us then to be appaled when a bear eats a human, and then kill the bear because he is dangeous to our species? Why shouldn't we just say "oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles". Most animals i.e. pigs, cows and chickens, can't do anything about the fact that we raise them as food and kill them to eat.
Also, take the whole thread awhile back about the Chinese people eating dogs. Why does it seem inhumane to the North American culture? They probably think the same thing of the meat that we eat.
