I would of rather them kept the promise with a place to shower, wash yourself, instead of a big tub of water surrounded by mud with a hose with 99999 people in line waiting for it, ewwwwwwwww

water

Showers are pretty much impossible - there just isn't the proper sewage lines or water supplies to make them feasable in any number greater than 4 or 5 and then its a 4 hr line to use them and everyone complains... Portable trailers with showers cost about 10,000 for the weekend and they only fit 4 people at a time - and the tank fills up every couple hours...! Its a no-win situation and we steer clear of that one! One thing we have added this year though is a water park area with waterfall and mist tent areas - this kinda fits the bill...

Thanks for the reply 0S2 (your set from wemf2000 is awesome by the way) Yea but I just wanna make sure what I'm getting this year, because it was like a 15 hour car ride, and alot of shit went wrong, blah blah blah, i dont wanna bitch anymore. i aint gonna even think of going unless you have the venue and location announced before hand, and no "venue will be posted week of event" But i heard past wemf's had been awesome, so I am willin to give you guys another chance if everything is la-git this time. I wish you sucess with this event, and ur events to come.

The Event

I can understand your reluctance if last year was your only WEMF experience - I know I would be a little weary as well if that's what I thought would happen again - BUT it won't - as with all previous WEMF's (except last year), all the permits and legal crap have been dealt with early (last year we got screwed around by letting the landowner do the permits and he never did - causing us to have to move at the last minute - obviously we would NEVER make that mistake again). Previous years have basically run very smoothly (normal lines to get in, etc) and we plan to streamline the whole process this year to improve on pretty much everything:

More security at the gate to speed up entry
More on-site attractions than just music (daytime activities)
DAYTIME music (main stage included)
extended Sunday hours
a bar!

We want to earn people's trust again and are going out of our way to do everything we can to make this year the best ever.

OS Out.

Well personally i don't understand why would anyone leave permits in someone else hands, and i hope this will work out, cause I know some ppl who won't ever go to a destiny event cause of this.

Peace

A bad experience and they'll never go again? Piss poor attitude I'd say. Destiny are not newbies at this, they have put on many great events.

Oh well, their loss!

If last year's WEMF was my first, it would have been my last. Dunnville was my first party ever (System/Industry goer before that) and I was let down supremely last year. Hope the lineup can be out by mid-May.

Yes I heard that past WEMF's have been so great, that's probably why I was so disapointed. But as I said, I am willing to give you guys another chance if everything is la-git.

Yes and please have music during the day...that would make it so much better!
