Mondays....
UGH.. I hate em.
Saturday night was definitely a good vibe. Love the TA's taking photos in the green room. Was also fun getting out there and dancing since the music was great all the way to closing. Both me and Jarett were pretty much creating battle circles in the middle of the room and felt like the old days for many hours into the night..
I also figured out where I met him. It was at Maratime Hall at some rave way years back. Most definitely a Skills Rave, Im thinking it was either bubble gum sci-fi, or something like that. Haha I described what he was wearin and found out it was him.
Those of you who left early missed out on TAJ spinning for 3 1/2 hours. The room was still jumping and packed all the way till about 45 minutes of closing the room too. Awsome to see people jumping and going nuts wee early in the morning.
I've been meaning to post some of my pix, but always get tied up doing something either at the house or on one of my cars.
On a lighters side, I upgraded my ghetto blaster in my SUV. I threw 2 of my old school 12 inch Kenwoods, with a 1,000 Watt Powerzone Crunch Amp.
To test it I put on some old school beastie boys last night. haha,.. You could hear me comin all the way down the block and around the corner.
I need a cap though, my bass hits too hard and kills my battery.
A warning to those who sit in my backseat though, be ready for some bass, the speakers are DVC dual 4-ohm speakers made for multiple woofer applications, and really hits hard in my ported enclosure.
On the other hand. You'll get a full body massage all the way to the club and stuff tho.
O ya, if you bring your laptop or ipod you can plug into my system, I have an aux input on my deck. You can mix and stuff in my SUV if ya want or plug directly into my amp.

Nicholas was already on the decks throwing some nice tracks. Listening to Ish the previous night and walking into Nicholas set was a good continuation of my party weekend. He played a good set but I thought I lacked some crowd interaction. He was basically cue, beatmatching and mixing up there. No show of enthusiasm.

I wasn't really into his stuff either just because it didn't seem like he was into it at all.

Thats how he is..Never smile alway has a serious look on his face but he had a great time and loved the vibe and everyone that was inside the booth. I agree he needs to have that crowd interaction.
For his music he plays alot harder at Raves. Ive seen him playing at a Rave here in S.F. about 3 years ago. He mainly plays at Raves. Alot in L.A. A friend of mine recently seen him play at this raves in L.A. with jon Biship and loved Nicholas set. And he's into D&B and Hard House/Trance. I knew he was going to play beside the psy trance alittle softer @ 1015. It was still a great night.

Ya the lineup for April is nuts!!!!!!!!! J00F is also great, I totally agree with Lex.
I'll be back in April guys... Another mix is coming you guys way too. Some of you were anticipating me mixing this month, and asked me on sat if I was playing. April ill be back!
I got a few complaints on the mix I gave out last, the Tranceformers mix with me and Arty...
Sorry folks, it is a MP3, and should be played on an MP3 compatabile player or car stereo. I cant fit a 125 minute mix on a 700mb cd, thus the format.
Some people read the CD, others just popped it in and played. I think ill stick to Audio format from here on out...
I would like to see 1015 have a full balcony walkway, above the stage that connects across from the red room to blue room. You could have a birds eye view to the DJ booth. Possibly a VIP area up there. I think it was excellent having that walkway behind the redroom, I see people gathering up there sometimes. It already does feel arena like with that walkway and stuff, expecially when that blue room is open and everyone is kinda hanging out on both sides lookin down at ya.
Im with Lex's idea for the class pic on PVD night! Ill get the whole crowd to pose for a nutso pic with TA's all up in the crowd! DaveT did you get your cam fixed yet????
Voters for the c/o pic should say I.
I!!!!!!!!
