I agree with what you're saying, but pedantry alert: the plural form of "sheep" is just "sheep".

Why would he make any effort to make good music when he can release whatever crap he wants and fanboys will be all over it, praising it, calling it 'PVD's new sound', no matter how awful it is, and subsequently bashing anyone who has any kind of standards and calling them 'haters'. Anyone who's pessimistic about this album has very good reasons for it, based on his sub-par recent works.

I've stopped reading TA for a while cause of entertaining threads like these. However I do remember your name time and time again in just about every tiesto, armin, pvd + anyone that sells a few thousand albums threads (omg they are so commercial)

Can I just ask why they are sheep? (thats a rhetorical question btw) - I actually know perfectly well what you meant. However, answer me this, who the hell cares if someone follows PvD like a god. Does it affect you? Is it hurting anyone? Hmm, I would think not. Now I know it's proably wrong etc etc, but, there are far worse things in this world than a fanboy.

You make it sound like we are talking something important like politics or something. You do not know everything about music, nor do I. Your opinion if a song sucks is wrong, as is mine, as is every other person on this forum.

For you see, the reason being is that its just an opinion. There is no right or wrong answer.

Now before you start having a sook taht I am a sheep, I happen to agree with you with waht you have said regarding PvD. I too, don't like his latest productions (bar connected, I love that song ) but hey, what do I know, I don't sit on TA 24/7.

It's just music mate. If you don't like it, who the hell cares? Move on, don't listen to it, don't bother reading the thread. You can move on with your life! I believe in you! Really I do.

The point is that we're all entitled to our opinions on the artist and the album, yet fanboys of the artist/album will attack people who don't agree with them. The status quo seems to be "freedom of speech, provided it's positive". If not, then an argument always breaks out. It's bullshit.

It actually does hurt to see someone whose work you've admired for so many years stop putting effort into his releases. And it is absolutely necessary to voice that disappointment, otherwise the artist will continue being lazy and putting out weak inspireless drivel.

Yeah I can understand what you are saying. And again, I do also think that his newer songs arn't as good (in my ears).

However, How do you know PvD is being lazy? How do you know that he is putting out "weak inspireless drivel"? That was kinda my point also. Isn't it possible that it took him more effort to make Reflections than it did Out There And Back, or, Seven Ways?

Unless you are PvD, you do not know the answer to that question. Like I said, I'm not saying your wrong, but your acting as if you know absolutly everything about music.....

How much do you know about music?

Reading the new release section on TA for a few hours a day while your bored doesn't count. (There are however, some fantastic threads in the producers forum)

And again, I'm not saying I know more than you. I'm simply saying that a lot of you kids here think you know everything behind every song.

How do you even know that PvD even touched any of the songs on Out There And Back? You don't really if you think about it. So relax and enjoy music

It may have taken him more effort production wise, as technical standards become higher by the day, but his latest releases hardly sound intelligent musically.

Are you saying one shouldn't comment unless he or she can produce something better? We all know how valid that argument is.

And yes, I'm a producer myself, so I'm aware of everything involved in the production process.
