Cool review drizzt81, I'm glad you had fun. So that was your first time at Exit right? Did you think it is as bad as people say it is?

i cannot really say, at first i thought it sucked, but i had fun, and that is what matter, right

I -honestly- like SF a little better, layout wise, but SF was more overcrowed than Exit...

in the end, i think it depends a lot on whom u r with and i met some awesome people at both venues.. greets to you guys

the tap water at SF was better than at Exit.. in case you care :

I apologize for extending this thread but I finally had time to sit down and reply. I was a little late getting to the club so sorry if I missed some TA's. As for the club, it was my first time there. I did not have any problems cause I was on the second level where I had plenty of space.

Is it just me or does the lighting at Exit suck really bad? And when I say suck, I mean my dog could push the controls better than the lighting guy. It is the same effect over and over again. What's worst is that it is not even in sync with the music. Seems like a 5 second delay. The lighting guy really needs to get a clue and learn how to follow trance music. Please let me know if anybody noticed this or if I'm just in a time warp smokin' some crack.

yeah the lightning wasn't really the coolest stuff ever.. kinda weird. i did not notice it that much, but in retrospect i have to agree.

the music covered it well though

So so sad....i never thought i would live to see the day when PvD would set foot inside the sound/juice/crack/factory. I must say, the night was great and it was better than i expected, but still no where near 100% PvD a la twilo (rip). Now we must deal with the fact that he is coming to Exit which is even more of a fuckin Bridge and Tunnel teeny bopper/wanna-be factory heads/staten island silver chain wearin high school. The bouncers are fuckin dicks, and they are probably gonna make everyone strip and perform full cavity searches. Forget about takin a shit in peace there, they WILL open stalls on you. Anyway, just the mention of someone like PvD becoming a fuckin resident at Exit or SF(not likely) makes me wanna puke. This really makes me realize how much our "super clubs" suck in NyC without twilo. Yes, exit is huge space wise, but thats all it has goin for it...System, staff, crowd all fuckin suck. Anyone tryin to act cool cuz they are a so called promoter for that place is in a juvenile lala land. Get over yourself, nobody really cares, and very soon you will grow up and need a real job. Last time I was there (2+ yrs) i remember snow machine and zombie nation. WEAK....im actually blown away that exit would have people like corsten, PvD, MVB....i never thought i would see anyone there except the likes of Baez or Tony Draper. If PvD is a resident at Exit, i will shoot myself. The owners of centro-fly need to expand that shit into a warehouse on the west side or something cuz that unfortunately is the best we have. That and vinyl which couldnt hold a high school prom much less an int'l DJ. If i had my way, i would have all these guys, esp. PvD, at shelter. At least they have the twilo phazon.
