Dance music is often made for the clubs and there's nothing wrong with that. Those of you who stay at home and just listen to albums and downloads, thats fine but remember many of us also go clubbing. Thats what dance music is all about, its why we have DJ's like Paul Van Dyk.
Some EDM will sound great at home but would be awful at the club. Likewise tunes like this dropped at the right time in a set will go down a treat but will sound simple and plain at home.
If you don't like it, thats fine but don't say its shit just because its made for people to dance to... |
I think people aren't so much saying it sucks because it was made for the clubs as they're saying you can't say it's good music because it would go off well in the clubs.
