There is no routine, they just grow naturally. I wish I would've taken some pics of what they used to look like about 1 year ago.
The only thing that helps is hitting them against hard objects, but to the point where they don't hurt for any longer than a few seconds. If you have the mental strength, you can actually increase the point where they hurt pretty easily.
