Don't have one myself got a Toshiba but:

1. That is kinda inherent to any digital design though.
2. LOL
3. Diy a usb charger outta 4xAA batteries to the black and red wires(put the + to here). Think it's 4 you need can't remember made one for a mate tho (basically about 10xs the battery power and replaceable - good for holidays and stuff).
4. Thats cos it's the "classic" which is in fact different to the original and all other ipod in that it uses cheaper parts, like the DAC is way shitter.

Yeh but in the volume limit is in comparison to my old ipod nano. The full volume on classic is about 75% volume on the nano. I read somewhere that its a EU restriciton, which is fucking stupid tbh
