To reduce its functionality to the mere added convenience of not having to carry records (as you would likely do with CDJ's or Serato) is, as is largely the case with many comments on this thread, missing the point.

He's just a very pissed off person, obviously. Which is unfortunate because I tried a couple teams to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it seems like something was really crawling up is ass to not even realize that or care to realize that. Oh well.

Lets just all realize he won't ever do anything very creative with Ableton. I think his controller shows that he doesn't intend to do much at all other than mix from a+b with a few ping-pong effects.
