So it was the most gp in 2005, when Schumi was still around, and some of the newer circuits were not ready yet. I was surprised because I did not think it could compete with Europe or Asia in terms of sheer numbers.
Lewis has done well to keep the numbers up while Schumi is gone. He definitely brings some more personality to the GP weekend, which is what the sport sorely needed. Although I love Kimi, he is a terrible world champion. You cannot understand him, he does fuck all for sponsors, and just keeps his head down.
The Formula One Management Group (Bernnie) was the worst idea ever for a international racing series like F1. Sure Burnie, we will give you a 100 year contract to have exclusive rights and do what ever the fuck you want. Meanwhile we are stuck with a lot of crappy tracks, with some historic and amazing tracks being dumped and then a place like Hungary getting another extension (WTF!!!), when it is one of the most boring races of the year. I guess they could actually afford it, because half of Europe comes out to watch it with the super low ticket prices.
Hopefully the new regs works, so that we get some better racing, and more passing next year. And hopefully Montreal is back so I can actually go when I have money!
