I'm a douchebag, apparently. They gave out free samples of Axe when I was in university, I just liked the scent, didn't see the ridiculous TV ad campaign until a few years later. All I can say is that I've gotten a bunch of compliments from women relating to Axe Phoenix that I've never gotten from Old Spice or any of the other cheapo aerosol deodorants.

Of course it could be coincidence, and to the best of my knowledge it doesn't actually cause clumps of babes to stick to me like krazy glue and beg for kawk, but nothing's going to accomplish that. Well, nothing that won't get me arrested, anyway.

Simply because a product is marketed toward douchebags doesn't mean that it's shit. Bluetooth headsets, for example, were intended for people in their cars; it's not the makers' faults that idiots wear them on the street or at work or on airplanes. (And before somebody pipes up, no, I don't own one, nor have I ever used one)
