you started at the right time. the more banging stuff you seem to favor has mad somewhat of a ressurgence in the release department in the last month or 2.

All techno is good...except the Techno that drunk bitches in halter top who also like fat joe ask for.

I'd have to get myself a turntable at some point to drag out my Rotterdam records and other such nasty tracks to play my old stuff and its more of a pain in the bum than it's worth, so I figure its easier to just start picking my way through the new-er sound and find what I like.
I've got plenty of psy anyway which is verging on techno in terms of sound and composition to bulk it out with.

...and yes, scary people at clubs is another reason to continue hiding in my bedroom

My guess is most guys have a crush on her...

Yeah I've only seen videos of her, and she isn't talking or anything, but she just seems really down to earth.

I guess it's her expressions while spinning. You can really see the enjoyment and the excitement in her. Like a kid playing with a toy with a huge smile on their face.

At Beatport.com "club" or maybe better "clubhouse" is not mentioned. But I think the examples of Techno over there sure sound like what we over here commonly called "club" (clubhouse).

That would maybe clear it a bit up.... so here they are:

I'm aware that sometimes the lines between genres get thin..
Once again, this sort of music over here is commonly called club or clubhouse. So my question is if it is close to Techno. Also it could be that we if say "club" we actually join some styles.
(By the way, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, that's why I asked)

Olav Basoski - Blackmail

ARMAND VAN HELDEN - You don't know me(1999)

Kadok - Nighttrain

NUYORICAN SOUL featuring INDIA - Runaway (Remix) - 1997

Natural Born Grooves - Groovebird

Me & Jack - Viva House

Grooveyard - Mary Go Wild

the problem is you're making an assumption that i am making an assumption. you werent there, you didnt see what i saw, you are assuming i was assuming.

this is not just one incident, this is something i see all the time, i am not hallucinating. fact is we're only human, we're not perfect, we get influenced visually. most rock bands and other traditional forms of music have a visual element to the experience, a rare few (like tool) try to hide their appearance to focus the audience on just the music. the roots of EDM, originally, was to focus the audience on just the music, and take the rock star or visual person on stage out of the equation. over the years EDM has gone away from that and more towards a visual thing (see the david guetta loreal video lol). its become more ego centric / rock and roll style. if there was a spectrum to define how much an artist relies on a visual aspect it would be daft punk on one end and a majority of minimal artists on the other.

and then seeing comments like these only supports my observation:

sorry if this is getting offtopic and become a thread about magda.

Hey now...don't bring me into this.

I'd rock out to her music regardless of what she looks like, as long as she can bring it. I well enjoyed her recorded sets before seeing what she looked like. Pardon me for noticing her beauty. And I also meant that she keeps it natural. No gimmicks to make people notice her more while spinning, i.e - a fucking mouse head.

but yes, back to the techno discussion .
