Well, I would hardly say that "sci fi" and "drama" are mutually exclusive, as evidenced by tv shows such as BSG, B5 or firefly. I would lump any futuristic show into the "scifi" category (including stuff like cyberpunk), but perhaps that's just me. Indeed, I see scifi as a general subset of the overall genre, which is fantasy.
