Well as much as I like the talent that Insomniac has brought here these last few years, I can't stand how they've been catering heavily to the 'scum of the earth' type crowd like the "ravers" that go to these type events.
Hawtin would be EXCELLENT to see but I doubt they would appreciate his style and the especially the genre. I think A&B are somewhat ok but they shouldn't be the 'topper' for this event, neither Cosmic Gate. They are great but not too many people know about em... if they got one big name, followed by DJs and producers from the next tier, it would probably sell out more rather than a big list of producers fighting to get to the top spot on the mainstream. I doubt they are gonna use Hawtin as the main stage closer but it should be interesting if it does work out that way. He played an excellent set at the Cinespace not too long ago  |
Of course they cater to ravers. That's there core audience. If you been to a massive than most people would call you a raver.
