ok sheepy, what are they then? What are those things flying around in hundreds of pieces of footage over the last four or five decades? Why would the Mexican government release that kind of film without an explanation?
You know, when you actually think about it, there is more actual proof of aliens than there is of an actual God. I've never seen video footage of God and I've never met or seen anyone on TV who claims to have met God. But there are thousands of people from all across the world, in nearly every country, that have been seeing unexplained shit in the sky for at least 60 years.
What else could it all be? Nobody ever has an answer, but many are quick to laugh off the thought of other civilisations out there in all of those billions of stars whose end we can't even come close to seeing. We have craft in space already. What might we be able to do in say, 1000 years? Why is it so hilarious to some of you drones? |
Not to get dragged into this argument as I think Digi's got it well in hand, I'd like to point out I'm no sheep, and I do have opinions of myself, and in this particular instance seem to coincide with his.
Like Aaron has been arguing, the evidence is suspect. Much like the 'evidence' of the existence of God was suspect for the thousands of years of human civilization before it. [explainations of floods, disease, random acts of healing, etc etc which were attributed to the work of God(s)]
Until some little green men come banging on our door with their arm out for a blood test, I think the evidence will always be suspect, and no amount of conjecture or circumstantial forms of will dissuade people like us.
But as one final note before I exit this thread until Digi's next rant, I'm going to provide a quote from the Boondocks that is fitting to your argument: "the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence"
They might exist, it's not to say they can't, or that we're part of the ego-centric belief that we're alone, but as it stands now, I need more to believe that we are in contact with them.

And what, pray tell, have these governments finally come forward with? And if the main thrust of your sophomoric rants is that we can't trust the government, why should any of it matter?
Let's pick apart the rest of your hysterical yet insipid post:
- Your assertion that a first-class visit would cause "panic and chaos" is nonsense. There is no evidence for this. However, I can definitely see people being pissed off about the idea of some alien race spying on us and playing pranks. So if we're to believe you, our interstellar visitors either have no diplomatic skills whatsoever or have the collective brains of a pistachio nut.
- The government hasn't spread any misinformation, or really any information whatsoever about "global warming." Only the mass media and so-called climate scientists (who are not climatologists) spread disinformation. Various think tanks and authors also spread varying amounts of information, quasi-information and misinformation alike. We can talk about Al Gore if you want, but technically, he started spreading misinformation after he got the boot.
- Electric car? What? Go get a Prius if you're so concerned.
- Lots of people knew about the Manhattan Project. They weren't issuing daily press releases - quite understandably I would add, given that they were in the middle of a brutal war and had no idea if the experiments would actually work - but it certainly wasn't any kind of cover-up. It stands to reason that people would know less about military activities than they would about things that the military clearly has no control over (like "UFOs").
- Simply making something a "national security" matter doesn't improve their ability to hide their activities. Look no further than the post 9/11 wiretapping and SWIFT programs which took all of a few months to leak to the New York Times.
I'm not going to respond to your video commentary. I don't know how you're seeing the things you claim to see, but none of it makes a lick of sense.
