Full Review/Thank you everyone!
Saturday was really amazing. 1015 was rockin from the start of my set all the way til Taj was done... Was impressed with how much energy the crowd had, including the variety of new faces, and diversity on the crowd.
I stared my set off with some progressive trance and house, the new Nadia Ali track - Crash and Burn (Dj Shah Magic Island Remix),(Really wanted to play the Super8 & Tab Remix tho) played the new Breakfast track - Lifepath, including the new Matt Hardwick Track - Kill the lights (Supernal Feat Melinda Gareth Remix).
Progressed through my set playing my favorite Signum Track - Any Given Moment, and the new Sundriver - City Lights (Daniel Kandi Remix). Theres a bunch more, but they will be in the tracklist.
Ill have a full on Tracklist soon, listening to my set to check out exactly what I played.
Looks like this time, you guys could hear the multiple effects I used including Delay, Beat Mash, Reverb and Flanger tools. Think also, for some reason you could hear the mic whenever we spoke on it this time... think its because it was on mic 2 on the mixer... coming soon, ill add something to the mixer for the mic, or mic effects. Just listened to my mix that was recorded and realize you can hear the ambience from the crowd, but will bring the levels up and add a condenser or filter mic somewhere in the club to allow you all to hear the crowd. I was WAY TOOO LOUD on the mic, scared the shit outta myself here listening to them in the office on my headphones... SO, fair warning if you guys are bumping my mix! Ill go back and edit it in logic or something to clean it up.
Breakfast Track I dropped had a realllly long buildup. There was a second promo of it I was going to play instead, but decided on this one last minute. Listening back on it now it seemed like a good choice.
Got alot of reviews from people as I walked around in the main after my set. Thanks to everyone for the compliments and comments on my set. Really glad to hear you guys love the tunes I was dropping Saturday.
Left Ronski at 133-134. With Ferry Corsten's - Into the dark(Ferry Mix).
It was right where he wanted to be since he dropped Out of Sky. Think this was his remix... He also played Greece 2000, Cafe Del Mar, and his very own remix of PVDs- For An Angel.
As Ronski left, I noticed he gave Taj a bunch of copies of his latest CD, run out and get it if you can, its really good. Pure Devotion. A 2 cd set including a new remix by John Askew of A Space We Are. Got a chance to speak with him, and he really enjoyed everything, loves 1015, and everyone who came out and tuned in.
We also have video were going through and editing. Ill post some of it on Youtube, here and on my website. So stay tuned, Ill be posting that when I get a chance...
