me and my partner both really like allot of the same stuff - but I tend to gravitate more towards the colder / synthetic sounds like Hawtin/Plastikman, Sleeparchive, Seph, Monolake or the chuggier stuff like Tony Rohr (came into techno via psytrance - so still got a softspot for rolling basslines and a harder edge), he's more into stuff like Ricardo, Cadenza records, bit more on the housier and mellow side than myself.
But, I still like most of his stuff, and he still likes most of my stuff - but our "favorites" are kind of on the opposite ends of the spectrum, but still highly compatible, like a Richie vs Ricardo set |
Although I would substitute the DJs you listed. That's exactly what I find with my bf as well.
