Boa had the absolute WORST location in terms of emerging from the club. Chinatown sketches me out on a good day as it is. |
no kidding... only had one opportunity to go to sonic (which i loved), but leaving after c & c nyd... walking out into the sunshine and surrounded by fellow country men, not knowing who was in the club earlier and who wasn't was uber skeeaatcchyyy

My sets:
Danny Howells (8 hours, System Soundbar 2005 & NYE 2005)
Danny Tenaglia (12 hours+, The Docks 2005)
(12+ hours, Pawn Shop Miami, 2006)
Richie Hawtin (8 hours+, Detroit)
Steve Lawler (7 hours(?), System Soundbar 2005)
(Sunrise sets 2005 & 2006)
(Halloween 2005 @ Guv)
That's it - DJ's I've seen spin 4-5 hours (which is what most in the US would consider a "marathon" set I bet):
Danny Tenaglia (5 hours, Beta 2008)
Steve Lawler (5 hours, Space 2006)
(5-7 hours, Ruby & afterhours San Fran, 2007)
(5 hours, This is London Jan 07)
Richie Hawtin (6 hours, Masonic Temple, 2006)
I want to see Sven Vath something horrible - especially one of the long sets. Graham - get him to come to Toronto and I'm there.

Demi
David Morales
Saeed Younan
Cevin Fischer
Tom Stephan
Chus & Ceballos
+amazing locals in the lounge
I think I did like 3 shifts there. Does anyone else remember that party? |
Yeah, that party was dope!

I respect marathons, in fact I usually don't like seeing djs for anything less than 3hrs.
Well the Dannys win this hands down for me.
Tenaglia
- 17 hrs, Stereo 2003
- 14 1/2 hrs, Space Miami 2002
- 13 hrs, Industry closing party (the bar re-opened at 11am!)
Howells
- 12 hrs, Aria 2003
- 10 hrs, Stereo 2007
