It wasn't THAT bad. Dubfire was Dubfire, but I had fun. My ears are still kind of bleeding from all the white noise though.

Dreams however was awesome, it sounded good as fuck in there. I hope Liquified starts doing more stuff there rather than Opera.

Good chilling with you, Sam and Austin!

Have to agree with you...

Liquified PLEASE book more shows here, the sound was great!!! SOOOO much better than opera...Id go out soo much more if there were more shows there

as for dubfire.... well.... some good beats, some nice bass... but no progression of the set at all... after 2 hours I felt like I was pretty much listening to the same thing...it was okay, but nice to have a night out!

Dubfire not playing until close was not cool. Showed up late just to see him, and was treated with only an hour and a half of Ali. If Ian is going to play, please put him on the flier.

Dreams is amazing. The size, sound, and overall vibe of the place filled with lots of people we could educate with new music -- is so wonderful that I really wish promoters would start throwing shows there! Love the location, with free parking and food, as well.

Dubfire was awesome, but was playing his set like he was warming someone up -- which he was. Wish he would've brought his harder side with a faster tempo.

Good seeing everyone out! I couldn't talk to anyone more than 30 seconds before a new face was tapping me on the shoulder.

So Dubdub didn't close the set off?

How long did he play?

Like 1-4?

Would've hoped for at least 4 hours

The sound and lighting at Dreamz was really nice though?

It's Opera, but much better laid out, good sound (though not loud enough imo), great lighting, and far better people!

I was assuming that he was playing a very long set. If nothing else at least closing. I would be pissed. Funny it was Ian that closed. Reminds me of when Tiesto played the Trade Center. He was expected to play a much longer set until like 5 am I think, but then Ian came back out. Everyone was like, "is Tiesto coming back? What's going on?" No offense to Ian, but if people are there to see a headlining dj and he comes back out, people aren't going to be too thrilled.

^

Ian James always does a great job...but it is disappointing for the headlining DJ to come for an 'extended' set and only end up doing 3 hours...Tiesto at North Gwinnett is a perfect example.

Kind of defeats the point to have the venue stay open 'til sunrise if the show dies down a good 2 hours before then =/
