i can honestly say that as a parent (if i was), if that were my child, i would do what i had to do in order for justice to be served on the cop, but i would in NO way let that be an excuse or take the place of the focus of her behavior. and right in the middle of that entire fucking MESS of a trial, i would remind her that had she had some damn respect in the first place, then she wouldn't have had to drag her family into that shit.
