Unbelieveable isn't????

it's been a couple years since I've been to Bulgaria but I remember when I was real young going there and my sister was all excited cause we found this store that had all the new hot music on copied tapes ( not a single cd I remember ) and she bought a copy of New Kids On The Block!
that was fat shit back then!

actually bulgaria in my memory had tons of copied clothes etc ...
but for that Turkey is much better ( humm gotta love Lacoste and Ralph Lauren over there )

hehe, that's true. CD's are fragile, specially when you have a younger brother (that likes trance) like mine. I used to have 80 CD's with me, but one day, I got pissed off, ripped my favourite songs and I sold the CD's. Now, I only buy a CD if it's really good - and available for a fair price

I buy CD's a lot yet, though not as much as I did before MP3 sharing. (Collection of around 500 discs last I checked) The high cost of importing most discs makes it harder for me to justify the expense.

I rarely buy mix discs since I think they're a rip off for the most part, though I make exceptions for stuff like the Global Underground series and Tiesto's Magik comps.

When I buy, I usually buy artist albums that are released domestically; because I want to try to help support the scene and convince record companies to release more of the electronic sound over here in North America.

I think if you really like an artist it's only right to buy the proper discs, I'd *never* d/l a whole album by artists like Paul van Dyk, Way Out West, Hybrid or Chicane because I think they *deserve my money*.

Vinyls are something else though, again, when they're released domestically (or I'm in Europe...) I'll buy them, but importing simply costs too much money. Most of the stuff I d/l is singles which are normally only available on vinyl.

im sorry but nothing is more impressive than having all of an artist actual albums that just a stack of burned cds
i will always buy cds i just use mp3s for singles
mp3 quality is nowhere near the quality of cd
and in the next few years burning cds is gonna become harder to do casue im in the music industry and i have seen some of the things they are working on

I download MP3's like crazy, burn em to CD for car rides etc. But at the same time, if I find an artist I like I go out and buy the CD. It's the only way to insure they get some money to keep producing good music. Plus it's much easier while cleaning your house to throw on a full CD and let it run its course.

Peace,
Razer
