Kismet

Could you kindly give us a list of your studio equipment? Synths, outboard gear, monitoring etc?

Some VA synths have a character that i like, alot of it actually comes down to the crap quality DACs on the synth and the fact i use a nice pre-amp.

I can guarantee you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind test between a few VAs and software playing simple sounds.

I PREFER the sound of analogue, It is definately not better than digital, just different.

What are some newer edm tracks that you like the production quality of?

To answer your question about vintage synths. Of course there is a market for these. They are Vintage and very rare. There were only 2000 jupiters 8s made i think. Thats why they have a hefty price tag. Granted they are selling for a lot more at the minute, but thats just due to the collectors paying stupid money which drives the price up for the rest of us.

No, that would be subjectively not objectively.

What does it matter, i've used and have access to both, but to be accurate I use primarily software, I keeps it real, even though I use/wrestle with software to make my own shit, I can tell you real hardware is better. And fo.chocho my future will be deep in hardware cheeks.

I guarantee that VA sounds better, but I never made a point about a VA vs VST blind test, If you played me tracks entirely made with analogue and entirely made in software, I could easily tell the difference.

What are some newer edm tracks that you like the production quality of? Recently, anything from Gui Boratto, Joris Voorn, Robert Babicz have amazing sound quality. All 3 of them are analogue/hardware whores.
