martin buttrich uses vengeance. And we fochocho know he is G as can be.

The reason why so many producers use Vengeance, is because it is one of the few sample CD's that catered to the minimal and techno movement of 2005-2008. It is one of the few sample series that has so many useable samples, especially the minimal house one. As terrible as the sound quality might be, the practical use of Vegeance samples are high.

Same. Though I don't use "loops" per se either. I cut one shots out of them and build my own kit...for every song. but I am experimenting with laying loops to add a certain bit of humanized element to the beat.

Loops and phrases are sooo lame (even when chopped up to 16th's), if you can't program a hihat pattern yourself you should not touch a sequencer. If you just want to stack phrases and loops, MAGIX is the ideal product for you

Lately I've been using loops, but I've been using ableton's built in chopper to make variations on the loop. I still use the original loop for part of the song though. Works really well for building up some nice top percs IMO, as long as I vary the loop a bit I don't feel guilty...

Ninja, I can't be stuffed loading up the song again to check what sample it is, but it might be from one of the thrillseekers packs or something like that..?

Are you actually serious? The quality throughout the cds is very low, especially the loops. They sound horrible because they are high-passed. Some are not in time with the tempo they claim to be either.

Have you seen some of the comments in the meta-data of some of the samples? lol. Things like www.vipzone.com etc. Showing he has just ripped off other sample companies and passed the work off as his own. He must be amazing, what a genius he is.

If many of the sounds are made by him, why do they have abrubt reverb tails etc? Why would he make a loop himself then high-pass it and make it sound like crap when he could just mute the kick drum and export it?

The tag mistakes were only in VEC1, and the reason has been explained several times in the vengeance forum. It had nothing to do with stealing. First go inform youself before claiming bs.

do you want to hear highpassed loops? Go and get House Definition by BestService. They are highcuttet at 2000hz and a pain in the ears.

Yes, the loop definition cd you refer to also sounds like crap.

Fair enough, it doesn't bother me if you want to spend 80 euros on other peoples material that you could sample yourself for free if you really wanted. Go right ahead mate.

The only reason i really care is becuase as i said in another thread, i spent A LOT of money on buying a few vengeance cds, only to be left feeling completely robbed, due to this fiasco.
