All nerding aside, great tune.
that's actually not true.
even tho that tune DID end up on the etbg album(i think anyway), the first version that DD did of this was actually an instrumental, no vocals whatsoever.
its a really rare version(i don't think discogs even has a listing for it, but i know it exists because i used to have a copy), but it was released well before the thought to do vocals with it even came up. this is reflected in the way the liner notes for the versions with tracy thorn's vox - she appears courteousy Virgin records, whereas the single releases were out on either Deconstruction or Arista.
its funny, the other day i was playing the vox version and a friend of mine who happened to be in the room with me commented that she knew the tune, but had never heard the vocal version. weird!
all nerding aside from me now, i dropped Stardust as my second last tune at Footwork on saturday.

Ahhhh I got chills listening to all these for the first time in awhile.... Someone needs to do a pure classic house night!

hmm, now that i think back to it, i played both Flat Beat and Stardust saturday night at FW.
i like most of those tunes you posted, but sometimes i kinda feel like disco sampled tunes don't really do the originals justice. still, its hard to go wrong with such great source material.
that 'eyes cream' thing... you can't beat Sylvester!

No worries just thought I would contribute a couple of tracks that I wish I could hear again in a club again. I concur on a old school night that would rock.

Guess this thread is dying out but thought I would add another to the collection.
This track has so many nice elements to it. Lawler remixed it a few years back but the original rules.
