i just want sun because grey skies are beyond depressing. i feel like i need to start taking vitamin d ffs! i don't mind not melting my face off the minute i step outside, but i would like not having to take a sweater out with me every time i leave the house in the middle of july. i hate rain and think it should only be allowed to rain overnight or when i have no plans to leave the house to do anything interesting. i kind of wonder how come it didn't bother me when i lived in england? anyhooters...yes, this summer sucks. i think the summer 2007 was pretty much perfect for me weather-wise but then again nostalgia always paints a prettier picture.

at least my basil is going totally mental. i have never seen a plant grow so fast in my life.

we had more rain in the first month of summer last year then this year. From June 21 to July 21, 08 we had 100mm more rain.

I just went for a walk and the sun is kind of eerie - really cool though.

Wow. Todays storm was wicked. I was out going for a run and looking to the west the sky was black. Then in literally like five minutes, boom!!!! Full blown storm. I think todays was shorter than yestersdays but packed more of a punch.
