Like I said, it seemed to work fine for Boa.
I suppose we should all be defeatists and cry "wah wah these sketchbags are ruining our scene and there's nothing we can do". Or we could do something about it. Tell these f*ckers up front that they'll be booted out and blackballed from all future events if they're caught OD'ing or generally causing trouble, and follow through on it. Hand a "never allow in" list to the ID checkers.
Of course, nobody will do it, because they're making money from these characters.
