lol abltons sound engine is pretty good never really had to work that hard to get a good clear sound out of it.
fl on the other hand is a lot harder
it all comes down to knowing witch daw suits the style for the producer using it.
if robby cant get fl9 on his pc then a cracked copy may be the way to go for now or just wait like i said before i dont think he will miss out much.

Actually, I believe this is the second time we went over this mfitterer1.
3 threads that all end up with the same conclusions - bad sound out of Live is to do with people warping stuff incorrectly i.e. they are doin it wrong
Ableton Live's sound quality is a good as any other DAW on the market, end of fucking story.

because DAWs are for noobs. real pro's use a magnetised needle and a steady hand, hovering over a spinning hard drive platter, flipping one bit at a time.

Cos for some reason certain people like to purport that the sound quality of Live is somehow inferior to other DAWs.

I think you're right. I've never used the warp feature - I've only used Live's arrangement view as a typical linear sequencer with soft synths and I can't hear a difference between Live, Sonar, or Cubase.

It's great how you equate tech support with software engineering. Very rarely are these teams even on the same continent, let alone in the same building. Lousy support is more of a management problem than anything else.
And the fact that you're unable to make this distinction puts you in the same category of moron as those clueless managers. With an attitude like yours, it's not hard to see why they aren't lining up to help with your specific problem.
