I just stated my opinion that I believe a lot of the macho bodybuilding culture bullshit has latent homosexual undertones. Why would you have a problem with that? unless of course you're a bodybuilder that is homophobic and gets angry with that suggestion.

Agreeing what echo said on vitamins. I watched a program where tests were run. The people that took vitamin supplements compared to the other group that just ate a healthly balance diet did not absorb anymore vitamins into the body. NOt sure on protein shakes etc. But it was very interesting to see.

Basically the body like echo said only absorbs as much as it needs anything else is juts filtered away.

The same goes for the "you must drink 2 litres of water a day". Another test on twins. One drank 2 litres throughout the day the other just drank when needed. results proved the one that just drank when needed (which was less than 2 litres) made up the rest from food throughout the day. The other simply went to the toilet more as the body had no need for this extra in take of water as it also took water from the foood eaten through out the day.

I guess the moral is just eat and drink healthly as required. Listen to your body, if you feel hungry or thirsty, obey. But theres really no need for extra supplements all the time if you eat the right food, unless you have some health issues.
