Wow. I only met him once, but he treated me like his own. Made a birthday thread for me a couple years ago. He will be missed.

I remember meeting DA at WMC '05... we snuck away from the TA dinner and walked half a mile to his car to chug about 3 corona's from out of his trunk.

He was always a great guy, very sincere.

...he was truly such a nice guy.

He was one of the first TA's I ever met at Armada Night 2007.. We laughed about how awesome it was to hang out and talk to Piet and Markus before there sets.. I crawled out of Twilo at 8am as Rank 1 was destroying the place.. He was an awesome person and he will be missed by many people..

What, This is Crazy!!! I know I haven't been on in a while...but going back to the early years some 5-6 years ago we used to have Mass TA chats on MSN with DA, Stren, Mr Pink, nachos ect...I also used to have a fair few chats with him one on one on there about alsorts of random stuff...Like almost every day at some stages.

I don't know what to think...a big part of me when I was growing up in my late teens was chatting to various TA's late at night on MSN. Its really hit home that part of that time of me growing up has now disapeared. I'm not sure what else to say...

RIP mate, I hope you are soaring through the sunset clouds now, at peace.

Poor Raul was suffering from long term clinical depression and as such, I am not very surprised to hear this has happened. I can only hope that he has finally gotten the peace that he has been looking for for so long. He was a sweet guy... it's too bad that he couldn't find a reason to keep pushing through.

If anything can be taken out of this, I hope it is a reminder that the people in your life who are suffering may really need help. Depression is a very difficult illness and it makes it worse when the person feels like they are alone. Supporting them and trying to get them help is crucial, even if you think they may be just 'looking for attention'.

It's a really tough time of year for something like this to happen, so I hope his family is able to keep it together and stay strong. My deepest condolences to them.

I take solace in knowing that he isn't suffering and hurting anymore.
