There is no such thing as ''tech prog'' tho. ''Modern Tech prog''
I got no problem with anybody doing their thing but don't turn around and call that shit progressive. Progressive house whole other thing. As far as fads... whatever... We are still here... Ny Tribal. West 27th for life

Well you will have to forgive my slight slips into dance music related misanthropy from time to time but hey that aside labeling the hipster facade that is going on now as progressive is just reducing the whole scene and what it once stood for... So System just pretend this crap isn't progressive. I say pretend because realize might be too strong of a word for you.

There is not gonna be another twilo. Those days will never come back. The land lord wants 100.000 a month for rent with a years rent security up front and is not willing to give a 10 year lease. So 1.2 million dollars... How is anybody gonna get that? With what type of music? Playing dubstep and minimal? Right...

What crap? What do you think I was labelling "tech prog"? I haven't named any artists, tracks or labels. Furthermore, the sound of progressive has changed a lot over the years. Did React 2 Rhythm sound like Blue Amazon, did Rich Dekkard sound like Moonface? The Delta Heavy shit sounded nothing like what was being called progressive ten years earlier. The reasons you don't want to connect tech prog with "classic prog" are purely sentimental. There were no end of people noticing the tech-house influence on S&D around the time of Delta Heavy. That dark-prog phase was the beginning of tech hegemony. Sasha and Digweed didn't turn to shit overnight. You just didn't notice the stylistic shift until it was too late.
