I think the biggest problem (and I can only assume is the reason he got banned) is his complete hi-jacks of good threads just b/c someone uttered his name. He'll go around accusing people of this and that, like a broken record, even if all they did was mention his name in passing, and not making fun of him. It drove people away. I distinctly remember him doing that with the review thread from the TOTA party at Footwork. I was really looking forward to people's reviews of that party, and not many people even bothered b/c he hijacked it. Not to mention people were getting upset when he was spitting out open threats of suing us, when really he's the one that should be sued if he's trying to make money off of these "remixes" of music that he stole and used without permission.
His posts hurt my brain. They're repetitive, contradictory garbage. It's impossible to get a point across to him. That's what annoys me most. You can't EVEN have a conversation or an argument with him, b/c he just keeps saying the same thing and won't listen to what you have to say. It's not even as simple as putting him on my ignore list, b/c he has so many handles I couldn't keep up. And further, him being on my ignore list wouldn't stop other people from getting annoyed and just not bothering to post (such as in the review thread). It just astounds me that someone would try so hard to respond to every single person that has ever uttered his name, only to start a fight with him.
This other dude in the thread. Personally I think it was worth it to suspend him. Ban him, no. But the guy was literally asking to be banned. I read the thread, and it didn't really look like Jay was saying anything racist, yet the other guy seemed to make some borderline comments himself. It looks like he purposely started a thread just to stir up shit based on his comments. No I don't think that mods should just suspend/ban anyone they have beef with, but this guy had it coming to him and like I said, was asking for it. So Jay delivered.
Anyway...that's my 2 cents. Take it for what you will.
