I got around to listening to this. It's actually decent. A lot better then what I was expecting. Both CD's have some nice gems in there. Overall a good flow and very ISOS feel to it. |
I've been listening to CD2 of ISOS 8 here a lot lately. I didn't hear this when it first came out because I honestly didn't expect much (as everyone)...what with 6 and 7 not doing anything for me, and Tiesto's "sound" (if he ever has one that stays consistant) was just not my thing anymore.
In hindsight, now, I actually really like CD2 of #8. Not a fan of CD1 so much. But I felt like the 2nd CD really captured what ISOS used to have back in the day. A really great intro, a nice flowing sound throughout, and a bangin' closer.
TO be honest, I don't listen to much trance nowadays, so I don't really know what's considered "cheese" or whatever we used to call it. And perhaps because I've been so removed from this sound for so long, I'm being just ignorant to how lame this album might be. But whatever, it's better than skrillex
