How is that a dis? It's another perspective. Negative, yes. Contructive to the owners, yes actually. You gotta look at all sides for a business. That's all part of a business plan when you present it to a bank for a loan or venture capitalists. How many times have you told a girl the haircut she just got looks awesome, when it looks like a shamwow on a stick?
I would want to hear my challenges too when I start up a business, not just hear from fluffers.
I'm sure Ryan expected this when opening this thread. It's part of his marketing campain. For one I applaud him for stating it, and for two, he's taking his advice in a positive manner. Neither Ryan nor Chem seem to have their heads hiding in the sand, so all is good. |
Exactly....I've already said numerous times that I wish them all the luck in the world and I hope it is a success. If Ryan wants to discuss some of the issues myself and friends have had with opening a club in KW then I would love to talk to him about them.

For those in the area, it saves a big pain in the ass in driving. For those that commute to TO to work, they don't feel like coming back to party.
As for myself, this may give me something different to do on the weekend nights I stay at my parents (between Guelph and Fergus). |
I agree that for people in the area it will be nice to stay home and party in their own backyard. I just don't know if there is enough people to keep the party going every saturday....especially in the summer months. There will always be a portion of the party people that will go to Toronto because DJ So and So is in town.
Beta is already doing one thing right that will help them out...and that is bringing in international DJs. IF they bring in the right international DJs then they can probably get people from Toronto coming to KW to party...which has always been a problem. Way back in the late 90s and early 2000s it wasn't even something we considered possible.
