IN THIS THREAD:

MY MUSIC TASTE DIFFERS FROM YOURS THEREFORE YOU SUCK AND IM AWESOME RAWR LETS BABBLE FOR 7 THREADS ABOUT HOW MUCH EVERYONE ELSE LISTENS TO SHIT I DONT LIKE.

Except the OP. He's clearly just discovered trance.

But I've seen far far worse. There's a group of kandikids at my school that refer to hardstyle as genres of techno, and they think electro and house ARE techno. And all they blast is headhunterz and deadmau5, and then "rave" on the school corner. This of course is followed by INTENSE WEEKENDS OF DROPPING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF E AND TRADING KANDI.

That's not to say I'm not new to Trance myself, I've only started listening heavily since Q4 2007, but I listen and indulge a lot.

They hate CRISP music with anthemic BREAKDOWNS...they like their trance repetitive and hypnotic like the druggies they are, with the DJ MANIPULATING tempo and layering tracks to build and release pressure...so they want all the glory to go to the DJ and nOT THE MUSIC!

Just another tenet of globalization and capitalism, bro. All about $

If you're trying to be funny you're definitely not.

But sure, there is something true. These people from the old generation are close-minded.
For example, new trance as a production is way more technical and rich = a lot more emotions. Trance is on a higher level in this exact period.

Technicality doesn't mean shit when it comes to making productions. Just because some wanker has access to $20,000 plugins/equipment doesn't necessarily mean the productions are better.

And once again, the track's you keep posting below your pile of inane CLOSED MINDED drivel become progessively laughable and craptastic to the point where I begin to stop taking you seriously.

PS.

I was introduced to the scene probably about the same time you were still a floating foetus. So in case you missed out, here is a basic definition of trance:

1. A psychological_state induced by (or as_if induced by) a magical incantation

2. A state_of_mind in which consciousness is fragile and voluntary action is poor or missing; a state resembling deep sleep

Example:

SUCK ON IT.

yes i think so also.

in the past there were little simple melodies and now there are used big soundscapes, also with the better technology of course.

thanks you jetflag for your input.

I just like Dash Berlin more then Oliver Lieb, Age of Love, Cosmic Baby, Humate, Sven Vath, John '11' Flaming, Kai Trashkid, Airscape, Dance2Trance, Gouryella, Veracocha or whoever was your 'hero' in the 90's.

DASH BERLIN IS JESUS

Mystery, I take back what I said, he is definitely a troll, the John '11' flemming comment gave it away.
